Marsh, I see where the Forum Upload is Flash Based! My Flash is turned off. How do I turn it on?

That depends on a lot of different variables. Are you using an Apple computer? What browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc)? My area of expertise in this situation is the forum itself, but I'll do my best to help you with your flash issue on your computer.

Easy, if you are using Chrome (what I use), read this...http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/ ... hrome.html If you are using Firefox, read this...http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/ ... refox.html

Note I am not addressing IE. Unless you have some software/programs that ABSOLUTELY require you to use IE, I strongly recommend NOT using it and using either Chrome or Firefox. IE is EXTREMELY susceptable to malware and all kinds of not good chit...

So, it seems that some members here are having trouble reducing the size of their pictures to less than 150Kb without ending up with a very small picture. A good way to compress and reduce the size of your picture is to save it as a .jpeg file. Picture files with extensions like .bmp, .gif, .tif, etc are large high res files when compared to .jpeg. So, next time you're trying to upload a picture, try changing the picture file to a .jpeg.

For example- here's a large picture, saved as a .jpeg that's less than 150Kb. I hope this helps

Probably a dumb question, but how do you resize a pic from a camera to a computer? Canon dslr to iPhoto. pic is like 2.5mb and it is a jpeg file. Never mind, i figured it out! Happy Days!

Irfanview is a popular photo editing program. You can download it free online.

My picture appears up-right on my PC, but when I upload it, it shows up sideways on the post. How do I rotate it so it will be up-right.

Are you using an iPhone to take pictures? If yes, the easiest solution to the problem of pictures posting sideways is to hold your phone horizontally (landscape mode) when taking the picture, then upload that picture.
